Invigorate your science teaching with a packed programme to support you at whatever stage of your career you are at, from early career through to subject leaders.
Join us at the National STEM Learning Centre in York, where you can spend the day getting hands on in workshops and lab-based sessions as well as listening to speeches from experts in science education who are here to enrich and inspire your science teaching.
You will also get the chance to meet other science teachers from across the country to explore ideas and build your network.You will get practical advice, rooted in classroom practice, and chance to ponder some of the key issues currently facing science teachers and departments. As well as learn from other experienced teachers, leaders of education plus the wider science and education research community.
You can also tailor the programme of sessions to meet your requirements by choosing which workshops and sessions you wish to attend.
During your lunchbreak you can spend some time with our STEM Ambassadors who will be around to discuss with you about how their work or research relates to the science curriculum and will give you some interesting contexts to enliven your teaching!
