Gold Award: Future Travel

These materials look at three possible projects that relate to space exploration:

* Communications project - students gather information about space exploration before making a presentation on the problems to be overcome with past and possible future benefits of space travel

* Practical project - students design, build and test a mobile miniature laboratory capable of working on a remote planet

* Research project - in relation to a Mars mission, students research the various branches of science and engineering that combine to make interplanetary human space flights feasible
