Similarity

The first five interactive sheets deal with various types of diagram involving similar triangles. Each sheet shows a clear diagram and a table of values. Lengths of line segments can be revealed to allow the student to calculate the scale factor of enlargement and the remaining lengths.

The next interactive sheets deal with the enlargement of rectangles, cubes, spheres and cylinders. Lengths and scale factors can be revealed in a table below each diagram and other lengths, area and volumes can be calculated and checked.

There are a further three sheets of questions on similarity and scale factors which may be duplicated for classroom use.
