Mathematics for today
The considerable diversity of course and teaching methods used in large comprehensive schools often leads to the point where, at the beginning of the fourth year, students are finally put into GCE O-level sets. It is at this stage that the authors feel it desirable for a single book to be used with covers fully the material for examination, while also enabling work previously covered to be quickly revised and developed. This book has been written from a course used in such a situation and covers all of the work needed for most 'modern' examinations.
