Seeds and Seedlings
The Young Scientist Investigates topic book on Seeds and Seedlings was published in 1981 and gives information, illustrated by full colour photographs and drawings, about where seeds come from and the variety of flowers which produce them. It describes the growth of new plants from seeds and the importance of seeds as food. The book is intended for children aged 8-11 to read and then to answer question and carry out investigations relating to seeds dispersal and germination.
