Numbers
From the series Great Lesson Ideas, this Teachers TV video showcases a selection of activities designed to engage primary students in learning about numbers. Staff at Eleanor Palmer School in Camden, North London, create factor bugs to help Year Five students understand factors, prime and square numbers. They also teach their students about the relationships between the different times tables. A Year Three class produces patterns using times tables and Year Five students use a counting stick to improve their multiplication skills.
