Speed, velocity and acceleration
This video links well to the Scalars and vectors resource. It explains the difference between speed and velocity in more detail by introducing velocity as the rate of change of displacement (as opposed to distance).
The equation v = s/t is given. Acceleration is then defined as the rate of change of velocity. To show how the initial and final velocities are used to calculate the rate of change in velocity, the formula a = (v-u)/t is introduced.
