Framework maths: 8 - basics
Basics is a suite of photocopiable teacher's packs containing a bank of worksheets that provide access to the Framework for Teaching Mathematics at KS3. It is linked to the Access tier of Framework Maths and contains parallel content so it can be used alongside this tier in the classroom, thus promoting inclusion.
The material is clear and visual in nature, presented in an age-appropriate style, and allows space for students to write their responses. Basics also includes a free CD-ROM that uniquely allows teachers to create, save and print out customised workbooks for particular students, thus recognising their individual needs.
The software allows you to search for material by either Framework maths unit or by Framework strand and objective, thereby allowing for the use of this resource outside of Framework Maths.
