Mathsphere

Mathsphere series demonstrates the practical use of mathematical concepts in the everyday world, stimulating further exploration in the classroom. Programmes cover a variety of topics such as: pollution, trade, conservation, geometry of sculpture, computer graphics, biological data, population studies, earthquake prediction, surveying and geothermal power stations and emphasise the mathematical aspect of each. Suggested audience: intermediate, junior secondary.
