Mathematics: national curriculum - year 1, book 1A

This textbook, along with book 1B, contains a structured maths program for use in school adn at home and is part of our series of years 1 to 6 books. The sequence of the work outlined is fundamental to building children's mathematical skills.

The book contains a chapter zero, which takes a detailed look at every strand in our Reception booklets A1-A12 in preparation for a sound start to Year 1. It contains a wealth of exercises and is supported by diagnostic assessments, extra work sheets, homework exercises and a review of each chapter. It is delightfully presented using explanations, examples, colours and pictures that add to children's enjoyment of learning.
